Today was spent, initially, grocery shopping and last minute wedding shopping for the little things that tend to slip your mind when you are obsessing and freaking out about the huge things. (i.e. venue, date, colors, dress, party, etc. vs. what hair style, what favors, what music, need panty hose, need earrings, etc.).
This afternoon was spent cleaning the barn, sweeping, mopping, scooping, and so on! We had originally decided that we would use this amazing speaker set that Ryan got and download a ton of music into the MP3. We did this because there was no was in the world we would be able to afford a dj. However, what sounded nice and loud in the house was not so loud in a huge barn. Therefore, we had to book it back into town and buy a surround sound set, which as of this writing, Ryan is still at the barn installing. Ryan is so talented; he amazes me with how knowledgeable he is when it comes to electronics and such. I could not even begin to wrap my mind around what he knows off the top of his head. Very talented. Anyway.
Lexi and Kaylee had a blast at the barn. It made us all dream of the day when we will have our own on our own land, spending many days southern style in Texas. That day is just around the corner, and we are SO excited! Kaylee loves the idea of riding her four-wheeler and the horses with no boundaries. She is definitely my country bumpkin. I love her so much! Lexi is blossoming in the footsteps of big sister. We definitely have our hands full!
Happy Sunday everyone. Enjoy this beautiful day of rest that we were blessed with. xoxo
